What's new this week
- Plan: Kyoto with kids, an accessibility guide, and money/payments/tipping — the Plan department now covers the full practical spread.
- Temples & Shrines: Byōō-in and Chion-in — 11 full temple and shrine guides now live.
- Culture: Traditional crafts — pottery, textiles, fans and dyeing.
- Food: Obanzai home cooking, and kissaten retro coffee culture.
Where things stand
Every department has now had at least four full updates. The next phase will likely mean starting to go deeper within already-covered districts — individual neighbourhood streets, specific shops and restaurants — rather than opening new top-level topics, since most of the obvious gaps are now filled.
